Muskrat Fleshing Beam w Support Station - A hardwood beam tapered perfectly for muskrats. They are made to sit on the edge of a counter top or table, a hinge can be added so the beam can be folded down when not in use. 27" long, 5 1/2" wide at the base.
This beam comes with a unique mounting bracket for comfortable, vertical muskrat fleshing, much less hand fatigue than horizontal.
For the beginner muskrat fur handlers, please note that it is industry standard to simply remove excessive fat from the skin including the fat pocket located at the top of the saddle, and any large chunks of flesh. Do note the the meat layer/saddle is to remain on the skin and pelts then dried. This concept applies only to muskrat skins.
