Belisle Foot Snare - 6” Model– This device is comprised of a mechanical unit that initially captures the target animal and places a cable foot snare on it’s foot. The target animal then frees itself of the mechanical unit and remains restrained by the cable foot snare only. The 6” traps are designed to capture and restrain medium sized canines and felines such as coyote, fox and bobcat. Animal is secured by anchoring the cable snare to the ground as only the snare is anchored, not the mechanical unit. Breakaway devices may also be added to the cable snare to enhance selectivity.
