4XL Wolverine Pelt #101 - Gorgeous XXPL 4XL, tanned wolverine pelt from the Canadian North. (XXPL: extra extra pale).
Skin measures 48" long tip to tip, measures 36" from nose to base of pelt. Skin has some slight damages in the un-useable portion of the belly, belly has been cut high by the trapper. This skin has long legs, does not have claws nor foot pads.
Wolverine pelts are extremely/highly sought after by taxidermists and collectors the world over, with very few skins being harvested by trappers due to high operating costs whilst the fur market has been in a slump for such a long time. Dressing costs in Canada have recently escalated, further contributing to the high price of this item. Even so, we have decided to do our best to make this species available to the average buyer.
