Western Canadian Beaver Pelt - Damaged - Dressed Beaver pelts that have some damage to skins. We have graded and priced accordingly. Damaged skins will have varying degrees of damage but have a variety of uses and good swaths of useable skins for todays cottage furriers.
Choose from the following skins:
#21 - 2XL w 20% of skin affected, very useable skin, $75
#22 - LG w hair slips in the head and neck, 35% affected - $25
#24 - XL w 2" bald spot on the high back area, also has 3 very slight damages - $65
#25- XL - has a 2" x 4" area of clipped hair on center of neck behind head - $90
#26 - XL - has small rub on neck, a 1.5" hole on belly, and 4 pairs of very small bites, is a repairable skin - $75
27 XL - has a 7" wide x10" long patch of skin w hard spots, rest of skin/fur is good/useable or is a fine wall hanger - $90
28 - 2XL-XL - skin has 2 areas with hard spots in leather above back leg holes, very usable skin or good wall hanger - $90
#29 - 2XL - XL - Rubs on belly both sides, long hair portion is unaffected/useable, or a good wall hanger skin - $90
Beaver size is calculated by length + width measurements. Realize that skins shrink significantly during dressing/tanning, thus for best results, always wet leather and re-stretch/block skins to realize the potential of your skins,.
